Lovely clean quirky cottage.
In general: Stayed here after corona virus restrictions were lifted so was a pleasant welcome change from home. Personal touch of fresh flowers, fruit, milk and chocolates made us feel welcome. Well equipped, well directed, very clean cottage. Good shower, comfy bed, garden with beautiful view. Lots of steep cobbled slopes up to the cottage and steep stairs within it. Pleasant neighbours. Lacked nothing. Close to town centre. Would recommend this cosy retreat. Location and surroundings: Very scenic. Lovely walks into the hills from the centre of Holmfirth. Lots of shops, bars and restaurants, although a lot closed and bookings required for meals in pubs/ restaurants due to corona virus restrictions. Service: Personal touch. On arrival greeted by fresh flowers, fruit, milk and chocolates. Pleasant neighbours. Dining: Microwave hob and cooker. Ample cooking utensils., Room: Beautiful view from all levels., Useful tips: Very steep slopes and stairs... Probably no good for elderly or those with walking difficulties. Parking is quite a way from the cottage.
